The Amgen Tour of California has created exclusive holiday offers and merchandise just in time for the holiday season! Now available exclusively at the Amgen Tour of California online store, www.AmgenTourofCaliforniaStore.com, fans can be the first to purchase the just-released 2014 leader jersey designed by Champion System, the official race jersey and uniform partner. A new, limited edition Amgen Tour of California jersey is also available, along with new official ‘ATOC’ gear for men, women and children. For additional holiday savings, opt for a special holiday gift bundle, plus save 50 percent off select jerseys.

With the 2014 Amgen Tour of California set to take place May 11–18, 2014, fans will want to be the first in their neighborhoods and cycling clubs to wear next year’s gear.

As always, the Amgen Tour of California looks to provide its fans the most unique and once-in-a-lifetime experiences thru specially created race week offers, including all access passes or the opportunity to ride along the course, even before the pros.

The Amgen Tour of California is offering fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience the tour like never before through an all access pass with the “Finish Line Experience” or riding the course before the pros and racing the clock during Stage 2’s Individual Time Trial in Folsom. For fans looking for a more relaxing way to experience the race-day action without a bike, the Amgen Tour of California is offering packages that include following the peloton and driving the stage in an official support car or enjoying all-inclusive gourmet catering in the VIP Hospitality tent at the finish line. Packages and Experiences are on sale now, with discounted holiday pricing. As a special addition, holiday gift purchases of $500 or more made by Tuesday, Dec. 31, will include an autographed jersey from the 2013 Amgen Tour of California, while supplies last.

For the avid cyclist on your list, Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) has partnered with AEG Sports to deliver the ultimate cycling experience for serious race fans. For the fourth year, Chris Carmichael and the CTS Coaches are “going pro” for the “2014 Amgen Tour of California Race Experience.” Team CTS will ride every stage of the Amgen Tour of California and share meals with the pro teams, stay in pro team hotels, benefit from pro-level support on the road, and enjoy exclusive VIP access along the course and at stage start/finish areas.

Videos from previous Amgen Tour of California Race Experiences can be seen at: http://trainright.com/atoc-videos.

The CTS Amgen Tour of California Race Experience puts amateur cyclists on the course for every stage of the 2014 Amgen Tour of California a few hours before the peloton of 16 professional teams departs. This is not a wine-and-cheese cycling tour; the Team CTS must work together as a cohesive unit and ride fast enough to stay ahead of the approaching professional peloton. You’ll be chased by the pros and cheered by the fans, all the way to the finish line!

The cost of this exclusive race experience is $11,750, and CTS is accepting applications from riders who believe they have the fitness to successfully complete this challenge. Interested athletes can go to http://trainright.com/atoc to apply online for the CTS Amgen Tour of California Race Experience Team. There is no cost to apply, individuals must be at least 18 years old to participate, and applications are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
