Request for Proposal: Catering Companies

AEG Cycling, LLC and Medalist Sports, on behalf of the Amgen Tour of California (ATOC), are seeking proposals from prosepective hospitality vendors for the 2012 ATOC. The ATOC is an international-level, multi-stage cycling race, modelved after the Tour de France, which will be held Sunday May 13, 2012 through Sunday, May 20, 2012 throughout the state of California.

ATOC is seeking a vendor to provide the following catering services for VIP hospitality including: food, service ware (serving stations, plates, knives & forks) & cooking equipment. Selection of the vendor that will be needed for hospitality is based upon the overall operational & technical capabilities needed to produce at the finish cities. The ability to work with individual cities and municipalities on permitting issues and city codes will be an important factor for all vendors selected to work on this project. Once vendors are awarded this job, regularly scheduled planning conference calls will be conducted leading up the event.
